    My Story


    I am an Aging Well with Less Stress & More Life Specialist for Women, Teacher of Adaptive Yoga and Restorative-Yin Yoga for stress relief for women, and Host of the Your Life Your Way Podcast. What has my journey been like that led me to all of this?


    I am a Mom of twin Sons. They are my greatest gifts, joy, and supporters. For many years, they watched their Mom react to life, and stress was, well, plentiful.  As I have experienced certain seasons of life, peri-menopause, a divorce and becoming a Caregiver for my Mom, I have learned that these, and everything in-between, can have a huge affect on how I age. 


    I reached a point where I knew I had to make a choice as to how I wanted to live my life.  I asked myself two questions: What had been my role in MY life?  Why?  The answers opened my mind to knowing I had options.  I could make choices that would allow me to experience less stress and instead, experience more life.


    I have learned to trust myself, my choices, my boundaries, and stand by them. HOW???  By finding and understanding the missing links and learning that healing and reducing stress is a mind-BODY connection, NOT just 'change your thoughts - change your life'!


    I found that teaching Adaptive Yoga strongly supported my Your Life Your Way belief.  Your body, your yoga because life is not a one size fits all.   Nothing is and that is why I know you can use methods, tools, resources that are right for YOU to navigate day-to-day stress and create more calm, clarity and peace for yourself.

    I love being Grandma!

    I am a lover of adaptive yoga, coffee, walking, biking, horses, music, reading, trees, crystals, energy work, critters of all kinds (except alligators!!), and embracing the possibilities! I enjoy exploring the mind-body connection through my practices and find that these activities provide essential stress relief for women.
